Creep through copper corridors, harness auto-crafting, triumph over waves of hostile mobs, and more with the trial update. This is a huge new feature that’s full of opportunities for players to test their combat and crafting skills, unlock exciting loot, and explore a sprawling structure stuffed with traps and treasure for every player in your Realm.
Trial Chambers spawn different combinations of mobs and other challenges to provide an engaging experience that scales in difficulty with the number of players exploring. Each spawner can be configured to spawn a melee mob (zombie, husk, or spider), a ranged mob (silverfish, cave spider, or slime), or the new bogged skeleton variant that combines poisonous effects with its powerful ranged attacks.
These spawners can also include dispensers that release items such as fire charges, snowballs, arrows, or splash potions. These can disrupt the flow of combat and create new hazards for players to contend with. The Breeze mob, another new addition, can activate these buttons with its wind charge ability, further adding to the challenge and making it even harder to keep control of the action.
This update also introduces the Trial Vault, a new block that can be cracked open with trial keys found in the Trial Chambers. The Vault offers exciting rewards for all players in a Realm who can unlock it, including banner patterns, music discs, and smithing templates. It also contains the new mace weapon, which can be crafted from a breeze rod dropped by a Breeze mob or purchased from the vault using a heavy core, a new item found in the Trial Chambers.
